Dallas Laundry Room Redo
With so many things going virtual or remote, we decided that Texas Counter Fitters could also go virtual! We now offer the same friendly service and guaranteed quality for customers shopping remotely. You can now find the perfect stone for any project from the comfort of your home or office!
But how does this process work virtually? We visited with a recent customer who shared, first-hand, how virtual stone selection worked for her.
As a wife and mom of 4 kiddos, the laundry room might feel like a second home for Sherry Clemens, and it was time for a few updates and upgrades! Sherry gave us a call, and we instantly connected her with one of our sales team members, Lisa.
1 – Connect with our Sales Team
“Lisa was great! We FaceTimed, and I showed her the tile and cabinet color in my laundry room. We talked about the different stone types and the budget I was working with for this project, and I sent her some basic measurements,” Sherry shared. A tip she suggested for other customers – a Pinterest board or pictures from Instagram are a big help to know generally what you like. It also helped to read about the different stone types on the website.
2 – Stone Selection
Lisa got to work, and Sherry received photos via text of lots of options to consider. Each photo also included the name and type of stone. With these photos and names, Sherry was able to do some more research.
“After I had a few top picks for stone, I went to Google and Pinterest. It was easy to type in Quartz Calcutta and find photos with a specific stone used in other laundry rooms and kitchens. It helped give me an idea of what it would look like in my home.”
3 – Measurements and Quote
Next, the Texas Counter Fitters team called and scheduled an appointment to come out and get official measurements. “They were on time, wore masks and foot coverings, and were in and out pretty quickly!”
With the exact measurements, a quote was emailed to me with exact drawings of Sherry’s laundry room. Sherry was also able to talk through sink and faucet options. Because she had found a custom sink, she shipped the sink directly to Texas Counter Fitters so our team could cut the sink hole to match her exact sink.
4 – Install
When the stone was ready for installation, the team called to schedule.
“It was fast – maybe only two weeks after signing off on the quote, I got a call to schedule my installation. They called on a Friday and were able to install Monday!”
For installation, Sherry said they worked in the driveway to make the final cuts. “The crew cleaned up well. They installed the stone and sealed it well. I was completely happy with their work!”
After installation, the plumber Sherry had lined up came out to finish the sink and faucet installation, and “my beautiful “new” laundry room was up and running!” As Sherry’s main point of contact, Lisa called to follow up and ensure Sherry was happy and even got to FaceTime to see the finished install.
“It really was a quick, easy, and painless process! I’ll definitely call them when we are ready for our next home renovation project!”
