Benefits

  • Versatile and long-lasting. Naturally resistant to heat, decay, bacteria, mold, weathering and termites
  • Cost-effective. Often less expensive than other natural stones like granite and marble limestone is easier to transport and install
  • Temperature control. A natural insulator, it can help keep your home’s temperature consistent
  • Aesthetic appeal. Classic earth tones pair well with a wide range of décor
  • Eco-friendly. Made without chemicals or other additives which can harm the environment

Care

  • Clean with a neutral stone cleaner. Use a damp, non-abrasive cloth and neutral soap to wipe down surfaces — or use a wet mop with a solution of lukewarm water and a neutral stone cleaner
  • Sweep or vacuum daily to prevent scratches and dulling. Use a soft-bristle broom and dustpan, gentle vacuum, or dust mop
  • Consider steam cleaning. Deep cleans plus removes debris from cracks
  • Wipe spills quickly.
  • Avoid direct sunlight. It can fade the color permanently
  • Use a trivet or hot pad. Avoid direct contact with hot cookware
