Marble: Luxury + Purity

Marble is a natural stone formed over millions of years deep within the Earth’s crust, where intense heat and pressure transform limestone into an elegant, crystalline rock known for its distinctive veining and intricate patterns.

Its origins trace back to some of the world’s most famous quarries, from the renowned Carrara hills of Italy to the vast, majestic deposits in Brazil. These diverse regions reflect the global heritage and enduring appeal of this exquisite, enduring stone.

Product Details

An elegant stone offering a unique blend of natural beauty and lasting sophistication.

Prized for its classic beauty and graceful veining, marble is a natural stone with a softer composition (typically rating between 3 and 5 on the Mohs hardness scale). While not as resistant to scratches or etching as harder stones, marble develops a unique patina over time. Slabs are commonly available in two standard thicknesses: 2 centimeters (¾ inch) and 3 centimeters (1¼ inch).

Extracted from quarries across the globe — including Italy, Brazil, Turkey and India — marble originates as limestone that has undergone intense heat and pressure. Finishes vary to suit different aesthetics: a polished, FOr a high-sheen, reflective surface; honed, for a smooth appearance; and leathered for a subtly textured, natural feel.

Clean with a gentle cleaner and soft cloth or sponge

Use a mild soap or a pH-neutral stone cleaner mixed with warm water to clean the surface, then dry thoroughly to prevent water marks.

Avoid:

Harsh chemicals, acidic cleaners (vinegar, lemon juice, bleach), and abrasive scrubbing pads which can etch the surface.

Seal regularly

Depending on usage and exposure, reseal every 6 to 12 months. Test by placing a few drops of water on the surface; if the water soaks in or darkens the stone, it’s time to reseal.

Wipe up spills immediately

Marble is porous and absorbs liquids easily.
