ROCK STARS

Travertine

Travertine Uses

  • Flooring
  • Kitchen countertops
  • Wall cladding
  • Outdoor patios, pool decks and fireplaces

Travertine Benefits

  • Durability and longevity. Travertine’s dense, compact structure – formed from the slow deposition of minerals – can withstand heavy foot traffic, extreme weather conditions and the test of time
  • Natural beauty. Delicate veining and a distinctive pattern of subtle earthy tones create an elegant look; additionally, it is available in a wide range of finishes, including polished, honed, brushed and tumbled
  • Heat resistant. Travertine remains cool to the touch, providing a comfortable surface for walking or lounging
  • Slip resistant. Use in areas that tend to have moisture, such as bathrooms, showers, and poolside
  • Eco-friendly. A renewable resource that is harvested sustainably, travertine helps reduce the carbon footprint

Travertine Care

  • Clean with a gentle cleaner and soft cloth or sponge. Use a mild soap or a pH-neutral stone cleaner mixed with warm water
  • Avoid: Soaking, which can cause staining, and acidic cleaners
  • Reseal periodically.
