The allure of art finds us seeking its beauty everywhere, from the halls of museums to galleries around the world, and historic sites to centuries-old chapels and castles. Our team believes that Mother Nature’s greatest artwork is in the breathtaking beauty of natural stone.
Over the last two decades, we have sourced a wide breadth of natural stone from around the world. We are proud to say that our global sourcing partners have become an extension of our Texas-based family. We have found their legacies in the world of natural stone to be incomparable, and we wanted to capture the essence of their daily work to provide us with the most timeless pieces of nature’s art.
To showcase this beauty, we recently commissioned an independent filmmaker to capture the exquisite excavation by Brazilian artisans and quarry owners who make attaining this tangible art possible. What the film team uncovered has given all of us behind-the-scenes access that highlights the detailed journey across Brazil to the States – all the way from the quarry to the countertop and beyond.
Along the way, they also uncovered the personal stories of the families and artisans behind the stone. From Emily Andrade who has taken over her father’s business upon his passing, to Marcelo Ferraz and his decades of industry expertise. We see the human and art come together.
