Texas Counter Fitters participated in the Birdies for BvB, an annual golf event that brings the community together in a spirited and sweaty battle against Alzheimer’s disease. Held at the impressive Texas Rangers Golf Club, this year marked the 5th annual tournament, and it was nothing short of a hole in one!
The passion and dedication of both participants and sponsors are inspiring. Since its inception, BvB Dallas has raised over $6.1 million, directed toward critical Alzheimer’s research, care, and support services. The impact of this collective effort cannot be overstated, as it brings us one step closer to finding a cure for this devastating disease.
BvB Golf in Dallas is a shining example of the power of community and the unwavering determination to make a difference. Year after year, this event surpasses expectations, rallying individuals and businesses to unite against Alzheimer’s.
Through the vibrant energy on the golf course, the camaraderie among participants, and the generous contributions from sponsors, everyone survived the heat. BvB Golf in Dallas proved once again that we can profoundly impact the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s.
As we celebrate the success of the 5th annual tournament, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who played a part in making this event a resounding triumph. With each swing of the club and every dollar raised, we move closer to a world without Alzheimer’s, where memories can flourish, and dreams can thrive.
A special thanks to Samantha March and the team for all the effort to ensure the event went smoothly and successfully.
Oh yea! Andrew Gilbert, a.k.a. The Big Boss at the Stone Campus, won the Closest to the Pin Award. When asked about this achievement after the event, he explained his secret sauce, “I was pin-spired by what BvB Dallas is doing. The good that this organization is doing for Alzheimer’s awareness and research enabled me to play at my pinnacle, and I was able to pinpoint my shot”!
